Home Plus Pilot Program

Home Plus is an innovative financing pilot program designed to help Westfield homeowners transition to energy-efficient heat pump systems while improving their home’s overall efficiency. Residents could receive up to $27,000 in funding for heat pump installations and qualified home efficiency improvements. This program starts in January 2025 and will be limited to 50 participants. CHECK THE MAP FOR QUALIFYING AREAS.

Eligible Homeowners Must:

  • Currently heat their homes with oil, wood, propane, or electric baseboard systems
  • Own and reside in a home in a Westfield Environmental Justice Block group, designated by the Massachusetts 2020 Environmental Justice Populations Map
  • Be a current Westfield Gas + Electric customer in good-standing
  • Deadline to complete Initial Qualification Form is February 14, 2025

Save Up to $2,000 on Costs of Upgrading to Heat Pump Technology. These energy efficient home improvement credits are available for 30% of costs - up to $2,000 - and can be combined with credits up to $1,200 for other qualified upgrades made in one tax year.
